Standing at the intersection of maker innovation and streetwear, we had the honor of serving as representative designers for Bambu Lab (拓竹) during this exclusive collaboration with Nike Beijing for Air Max Day.
Our mission? To redefine sneaker customization. The result? The Pegasus Unicorn Shoelace Charm.
The Intersection of Myth and Maker Culture

The Nike Air Max 95 is a masterpiece of design. To honor its legacy while pushing the boundaries of what a sneaker can be, we looked toward mythology. The Pegasus Unicorn embodies the ultimate expression of “Air”—flight, untamed energy, and bound imagination.
Printed with flawless precision using Bambu Lab’s state-of-the-art technology, the stark white wings and intricate details of the mythical creature create a striking visual contrast against the AM95’s classic grey gradients and neon green accents. It is more than just a lace lock; it is a wearable 3D-printed sculpture.
Bringing Tech to the Ghost Market
The traditional Beijing “Ghost Market” (鬼市) is a place of mystery—a late-night gathering where collectors hunt for rare and hidden treasures. By bringing rapid, high-fidelity 3D prototyping into this atmospheric setting, we aimed to bridge the gap between ancient treasure hunting and futuristic creation.
In the mysterious, late-night atmosphere of the Ghost Market, watching sneakerheads discover and attach our 3D-printed Pegasus charms to their coveted Air Max grails was an unforgettable moment. It proved that Maker technology can be the ultimate ‘hidden treasure’ in streetwear culture.
